Event Activity Report: Selling GUTS-MAN on the Train!

In this blog, we would like to share a report from a recent event!

We recently participated in a special initiative where products were sold on board the local "Kintetsu Railway trains" running through Nara Prefecture.

The event was called “Train de Kashihara-san Marche in Yamato-Yagi Station.”

Kintetsu Railway is one of the largest private railway companies in Japan, covering a wide area from the Kansai region—including Osaka, Nara, and Kyoto—to the Tokai region. For residents of Nara, it’s the most frequently used train line.

If you visit Nara as a tourist, you will almost certainly use it!

As the event name suggests, we sold our products on the train.

We displayed our products on the seats, and customers would enter the train car to make their purchases. It was truly surprising to experience sales taking place inside an actual train!

Although it was a short event lasting only about three hours, we were thrilled to welcome so many visitors that there were moments we could hardly move. Not only our products, but those from other vendors also sold out one after another.

We truly appreciate everyone who came—thank you so much!

Alongside GUTS-MAN, we also showcased our haramaki (belly warmer) brand, Naramaki!

Nothing makes us happier than being approached by our loyal customers. Thank you so much for using our products and for taking the time to speak with us!

There were also Kintetsu Railway pin badges on display (so...so cute...)!

Many local shops from Kashihara City, including a traditional Narazuke (pickled vegetable) shop, also participated in the event, and every single booth received an overwhelmingly positive response!

Kashihara City’s mascot character, Sarara-chan, along with the Kintetsu Railway mascot (yes, there’s one!), also came to cheer on the event. It was another scorching summer day... Huge thanks to them for their hard work!

If this initiative takes place again—wherever it may be—we definitely plan to participate. When that happens, we will be sure to inform you in advance. Thank you for your continued support.
